Q.

Scotts emulsion

I was reading the other day in a baby magazine that it is safe to start giving scotts emulsion at the age of 4 months. Is it true? I know on the dosage it says from 1 year only 15 ml daily. Reason asking, I know its very good, giving it to my 3 year old son and my little girl who is 8 and half months old are sick on a regular basis. Maybe I can just half the dosage, but please confirm first. Thanks

Do not give Scotts emulsion until your baby is 1 year old. This is because of the danger of side effects from too much Vitamin A for an infant
