Q.

Runy nose

My 4yr old son have a permanent runny nose. I''ve tried varouis medicine incl anti histamine. Nothing helps so far! What can be the cause? Will a nasal spray helps better than medicine?

It sounds as if your son's persistant runny nose is likely to be due to an allergic cause. He probably has allergic rhinitis. It is necesssary to take him to see a paediatric allergist. There are experts in all the main centres in SA.
