Q.

Runny tummy - milk?

My son is almost 26 months old. He''s been frinking Parmalat First Growth for about a year. About 8 months ago I started him on cow''s milk, and immediately he started having diarrhoe. I then tried mixing half cow''s milk and half First growth, and it lessened a bot, but still his tummy was watery. I then put him back on Nido formula, but still his tummy remains loose, watery and yellow in colour.

What can I do?

He plays as normal, eats healthy at creche (at home he does not eat much) and is other wise healthy.

Your son has one of two possible problems. He either has a problem digesting cow's milk, known as lactose intolerance or he is allergic to cow's milk. Stop all cow's milk in his diet and replace it with a soya milk.
