Q.

Runny nose, bad cough &  vomitting

A while back my LO of 14 months was diagnosed with tonsilitis. She had a course of antiobiotics which she finished. A few weeks later she had a runny nose, coughing and fever of 38.9. I took her to the doc, she noted that she had discharge from her ear but didn' t tell me what was wrong. She then gave me another course of antibiotics when she then again finished.

She is still not well. Runny nose (thick &  green), and wet cough. She has coughing fits where she' ll cough so much she vomits. there is nothing else wrong with her not even a fever.

What could be wrong?

Your baby has whooping cough. This condtion is actually called Parapertussis. Go back to your paediatrician and tell her that this is the diagnosis. She must put your little girl onto the correct treatment.
