Paediatrician

Children of 21 months are usually becoming quite self-assured. Rumination is rather uncommon in children of this age and is thought to be due to an attention seeking habit in some children. You can try to make mealtimes as relaxed as possible and give your son as much quality time as possible. If his habit persists he should be seen by his paediatrician.
