Q.

Rubbing face

Hi, my 3 month old son rubs his face and his nose on my shoulder all the time. Is this cause for concern? Why do they do that?

This usually happens in babies who have an eczema rash on their face, but even more so in infants with a blocked nose. It is often a very early sign of nasal allergy in infants. Babies of 3 months may become allergic to cats in the home or to cow's milk formulas or to something in the mother's diet if they are being breastfed. If your baby's nose is blocked use the new 'Flo Saline Baby' nasal spray twice a day in his nose.
