Rouvax side effects

Dear Doc

My 9 month daughter had the Rouvax (measles) vaccine 3 weeks ago. The clinic sister said she would get a fever for 2-3 days, and a rash about a week after the vaccine. She said that this would be a sign that the vaccine is " working"  and that my baby would get immunity.

My daugher never got any of these side effects! Does this mean that the vaccine did not work?

Regards

Most babies do not get any fever or rash after this vaccination so there is no need for concern. Your baby is now immunised against measles.
