This is a very effective and worthwhile immunisation. The Rotavirus vaccine is given by mouth.

My baby had the Rotavirus drops, our whole family contracted the rota virus, she also got it, but very light, within a day she was ok again, the other children were severely ill.

I am one of the mothers who breastfed my child until 3 years old and people told me it was not the right thing to do. BUT when my son got the rotovirus at 18 months, it was my breast milk that kept him alive. He is now 10 years old. (No dont worry I am not still breast feeding)

Safe, he can still get it but he won’ t be as sick as if he was not inoculated. Its actually very sad, the majority of the babies that die are those that where hospitalised too late or those without medical aid.
