Q.

Ringworms

Dear Prof

Are ringworms contagious because my 2 yr old son had them and now my 5yr old daughter has developed one on the chin?
I gave them both vermox (SD)  please recommend a topical cream. Is grinding teeth a sign of worms or is a coincidence that my son has just started grinding his teeth as well?

Ringworm is not caused by a worm, it''s a fungal infection. Google it. You can ask your pharmacist for ointment to use. It is contagious so your daughter probably got it from your son.
