It is unusual for a baby of this age to have difficulty in falling asleep. One of the most common causes is a blocked nose. If your baby does have a blocked nose try to keep his nose as open as possible by using saline nose drops twice daily.Sometimes babies of this age are so excited about recently learning to walk that they like to spend a bit of time before bedtime working off energy by walking a bit.You have established a good sleep time routine that you should not change.

Hi,

My son is the same age but its a struggle every night to put him to bed. He also tosses and turns, stands up and walks about on the bed. Usually after 2 hours of this both him &  I are exhausted. And this occurs every single night.

Please help.
