Q.

Restless sleeper and anti-bottle

Hi. My 7½  month old little boy is such a restless sleeper waking at least 3 or 4 times a night. I dont know what to do anymore. I now have him on Sister Lillians Rescue Rest. Started these yesterday (1 crushed pill 3 x a day) and last night he was still restless and waking alot. What could be the cause of this?
I also would like him to start taking a bottle as i am a working mom. During the day i feed him a few times and leave for work at 8:20 - go home to feed him tea time and then again at lunchtime and then from 5 on demand still. He is on solids eating porridge for breakfast, a fruit purity at about 12:30 or so and a veg purity between 4:30 and 5. Sometimes i will give him a little something at about 7. But my question still is, how do i get him to take a bottle and drink formula? Thank you for your help.

It is difficult for me to be sure about the reason why your baby is so restless a night. There are at least 3 possible reasons: teething or he may be hungry or he may have a reflux problem. I see that he is on solids and he is unlikely to be hungry. This leaves teething or reflux. If he has always been restless then reflux is very likely. As you now want to strta a formula try him on a thickened anti-reflux formula such as NAN AR and see if he is less restless.
