Q.

RESTLESS SLEEPER

Hello professor, I have a 21 month old baby girl who is very restless in sleep. She will wake up every 2 hours to drink on the breast and fall asleep. What can I do?

Something is causing your little girl to wake up so often. It is unlikely that she is hungry and also unlikely to be due to her molar teeth coming through now. A strong possibility is silent reflux causing some heartburn when she is lying down.Give her Gaviscon Liquid 5ml at night before she goes to sleep and see if this makes a difference and enables her to sleep more soundly.
