Q.

Repeated Eye squinting/blinking

My Grandson will be three years old in August, for the last 2 weeks we have noticed that when he is either palying or watching tv he is blikining/squinting his eyes very rapidly for a few seconds at a time, could this mean he needs to see an eye Dr? also he does not rub them or itch, i did not know if this could be some type nuerological problem.

This may just be a habit that your grandson is starting. It can become quite firmly established and the more you or his parents remark about it the more it will become a difficult habit to break.Because he is also squinting it would be best to see an eye specialist as there just may be an additional problem here.
