Q.

Reflux?

Hi there

My little boy has reflux. We treated him with losec and Motillium. The reflux stopped and now after about 3 months, it looks like it is back. When we noticed the reflux was gone, we stopped the meds. He is now 9 months old. He now seems to swallow his reflux. I dont know why, but he will wake up (or stay sleeping), cry and arch his back and neck. Why would he do this? Is it the reflux? He has done this for nearly all his life. He is also teething at the moment. He only has 1 tooth so far.

Your baby still has reflux. It is very common for reflux to persist like this.he has all the symptoms of reflux and the acid contents of his stomach is causing him discomfort as the food refluxes back up his oesophagus. He needs to go back onto his treatment.
