Today I found pink stains on my baby' s spoegdoek" " , looks like panado/stopyn. When I looked on his clothes from this morning I found out that it was full of porrige! and not even rice cereal, a darker one. I asked them not to feed him until 6 months. He drinks milk 4 hourly and is not hungry, so I don' t think he is ready to eat.
He only drinks expressed breastmilk but the first month he had some NAN HA, when we gave him normal NAN he got sick and was hospitalized for 3 days. What should I do now? Should I stop the eating or continue? I' m scared he might get allergies from starting solids too soon, he only turned 4 months on Wednesday.
Please advise. Natasha

You should delay giving your baby any solids until the age of 6 months. The creche must not give him any solids against your wishes. In addition he must only have the low allergy formula NAN-HA.You may need to change the creche if they are unwilling to comply with your instructions which are for the benefit of your baby's health.
