Q.

Refer post 1899 Tummy Problems

Hi Doc thank you so much for your response, you know being a first time mother, everyone tells me not to panic and so long he is doing fine its ok, its really hard always wondering the what ifs.

Since the weekend, he has had 3 stools on Saturday, which I was so overjoyed about, but then yesterday it went back to 5, he seems to push them out I see, his face actually turned red with the strain, they have become firm but not hard, but still this pasty yellowish/whitish colour with little hints of mustard yellow, not completely white like that one stool. It still happens after every meal and you can see he gets quite hungry too, he still has quite alot of liquids.
Should I make that call and take him to the pediatrician?

Thanks for the time take to respond.........
He is losing weight very slowly, but is still very active and teething badly as usual.

I am concerned about two things with your baby. Firstly he should not be losing weight and secondly his pale, whitish stools. It is just remotely possible that bile is not getting into his digestive system. Please ask his paediatrician to see him and clearly explain what your comncerns are.

Oh before i forget, the 10days you recommended to be off all dairy ends on Friday, should I rather wait till then and then take him in since I have a thought that maybe his body is still trying to adjust to the soya milk?
