Q.

Red spots

Hi my lb is just over 9 months and had his messels injection about 10 days ago and now has little red spots on his face and some on his chest. Could this be from the injection or could it be a heat rash??
He has also been suffering from a rash under his chin, I think from the drooling is there something that would take it away, it seems very itchy, but is not the same as the spots on his face and chest.
Thank you for any advise.

Your baby's rash may be due to a mild measles reaction, but his rash does sound more like a heat rash.Apply a light moisturising cream such as baby aqueous cream and see if this helps. The rash under his chin may be a mild candida infection of his skin due to dribbling. Treat this with Nystatin cream applied twice a day.
