Q.

Red neck

My baby had a stroke at 6 months she is now 1 year. But she does not move her left arm and her head is to one side. Which makes her neck and under the left arm very red. Every night that i bath her i dry it properly with a lot of crying and i put baby powder. But it seems now that it' s summer time it' s getting a little worse. It' s not a rash. What can i use to prevent the redness and keep it dry?
Please please help.
Thank you.

This sounds like a candida infection of the skin of your baby's neck. Please apply Nystatin Cream 3 times a day to her neck and see if this helps. If it does not help after 5 days please write to me again.
