Q.

Red bumps on soles of feet

Hi Doc,

My 17 month old boy has tiny red dots on the soles of his feet. Both feet at the exact same spot. It forms a solid, hard, red, slightly high area where the foot starts to arch, behind the big toe and the first " ball"  of your foot.

Please advise if I should be worried?

Regards
Mom 101

It is not common for young children to have spots like this on the soles of their feet. Sometimes this can be the result of a reaction to a vaccination. Another important cause is tick bite fever. It would really be best to take your little son to be seen by his paediatrician.
