Q.

recurring Fever

Hi Doc, my three year old son has been having a recurring fever since last Friday (28/08/09) the temparature is between 101 to 104 i took him to the Doctor on Tuesday, but the fever has not stopped at all. I do not know what to do now please help

Your son has a very high fever. What is needed here is a clear diagnosis of the cause of his illness. It is not possible for me to say what I think is wrong with him without being able to examine him. He may have a urinary infection, but this would be only one of many possible causes.He must be seen again by the doctor and you must not leave the doctors rooms without knowing exactly what the diagnosis is of your son's illness.
