Re: Stature

He is 24 months and 3 weeks, weighs 12.5 kg and is 84 cm tall.
I am 1.64 m and my husband 1.72 m.

I will do a nasal smear for easinophils using Hansel''s to check if he has allergic rhinitis, but he almost never has a runny nose.

This little boy's weight is exactly on the average for his age but his height is well below average. His height is on the 9th percentile, the lowest 9% for boys of 24 months. His height is definitely a problem. Your height is exactly average, but your husband's height is on the 25th percentile, the lowest 25% for adult males. It is possible that this little boy is following a family male growth pattern. he is so far below average that it would be worthwhile having him checked by his paediatrician.
