Re: RSV - urgent please

Thank you so much, Prof. - just checked his lungs and he''s developed a wheeze on the right side. Should I then continue with the Combivent? When would Pulmicort and Celestamine be indicated?

I checked some liteture from 2011, and its clear that corticosteroids and bronchodilators aren''t of much use in RSV, so why are they prescribed?

You can continue with the Combivent which should help a bit, but make sure that you use the correct dose for his age.As to the second part of your question,I really do not know why.Have we not discussed the use of Celestamine before?
