RE: Post 969 - diabetes

Hi Doc

I took my son to the clinic at our pharmacy and they tested his blood sugar - it was 5. It was not a fasting test, she said it is normal Can I accept it as such ?

Thank you

Yes, your son's blood sugar is normal. Now you need to find out if he has a urinary tract infection as his symptoms are significant. So now it is off to your doctor and not a pharmacy. He can have his urine checked for glucose as well while you are at the doctor.
