Hi Doctor
Just to follow up on my previous post regarding the allergic little girl used to have a life threatening dairy allergy until she was about 18 months old. We ran a milk challenge and she was fine.

Since then, l have had her on full cream milk and full cream yoghurt, to ensure that she gets enough calcium in. She drinks about 250ml FCM per day and 100ml FC yoghurt every 2 days.

Is this what is causing the problem? How do l get rid of it? Is it harmful to her? She has no other symptoms except snoring at night and she has had her tonsils and anedoids out.

Thank you

If your daughter is snoring she probably has allergic rhinitis. This would account for her allergic shiners. She should be seen by a paediatrician with expertise in paediatric allergy.
