Q.

Re-occurring symptoms with no solution

DD has had numerous ' episodes'  lately and I would like to get some other thoughts on this. She has seen 3 docs who have told me 3 different things.

She is fine one minute, next thing you know:
- low grade fever
- vomiting and nausea
- cramping and back pain
- lethargic
- chills and clammy

A day or 2 later she is back to herself.

Once she was treated for a UTI, once for a kidney infection.

It has been going on for almost a year with no specific cause.

Thanks for any input.

Your daughter has a definite and significant illness. She has an intermittent fever and chills and vomits and is nauseous and lethergic. There are sveral illnesses which must be ruled out such as malaria, toxoplasmosis, Still's disease, Malta fever and schistosomiasis. Please discuss the necessary tests with your paediatrician.
