re-infection mother to child

My son is six months old and has his first cold. Its been going on for almost a week now. Just a very runny, congested nose. No persistant cough (just every now and then) and a bit miserable during the night when he can' t breathe with ease. His paediatrician told me to try saline drops and those capsules you squeeze out around the mattress, but after almost a week, his condition is pretty much the same. I' ve heard that breastfed babies recover quickly, is a week still early days?
Now I' ve also caught his sniffs, if he heals before me, how can I prevent re-infection?

You must use Salex nose drops at least twice daily in your baby's nose to clear his blocked nose. You can give him Reuteri infant drops 1ml daily for 10 days which is a probiotic and will boost his immunity.
