Re: Difficult question

Dear Prof

Many thanks for your input. We are seeing our sons paed this week for a developmental assessment. I just have more general question regarding his shyness. He speaks non-stop and well at home, but at school in class he doesn''t even react to prompts or questions from his teacher? we ran into her at the shops on Sat, and same thing - total expressionless face and not reaction to her. Yet he loves her and goes to school happily? is it an age-thing?

This is very common and is due to shyness. It is difficult to sort out, but it is important to boost your son's confidence as much as possible.
