Re: Child grinding teeth

Yes, she is actually grinding her teeth and not biting herself. It makes a funny sound. I need to know if there is a treatment for this and the actual cause of it.

The usual reason for very young children grinding their teeth is a blocked nose.This is a very difficult habit to stop once it has started.If her nose is blocked use Salex nose drops twice a day. If her nose is not blocked then you can try an old fashioned antihistamine called Aterax 1.25ml at night. This sometimes helps to stop the teeth grinding habit.
