RE Brow/forehead laceration: setback with night dryness

Dear Paed

We''re hoping to get to see the plastic surgeon tomorrow.

Since the accident our son has had a relapse with his night time dryness. We pretty much had him off the nappies at night, but he''s back to square 1 right now and he even had an accident during a lunchtime nap yesterday. I would guess that it is normal given the trauma of the accident. How long would one expect it to take for him to recover his night time dryness again?

Your son has had a bad experience recently and it is very common to have a bit of a setback with bedwetting for a while. This should not last too long but it is really very difficult to predict for how long it will continue.I am pleased you are seeing the plastic surgeon tomorrow.
