Q.

rash just below penis

hi Doc, my 18 month has the kind of nappy rash, we took him to the doc and he prescribed biocot, the rash is healing but seems to resurface as soon as his nappy gets wet, but ok when without a nappy. Will this ever go away? What could be the cause? Thank you Doc

There are two possibilities. Firtsly this may be a candida rash. Try Nystatin cream applied at least 3 times a day and also give your little toddler a probiotic for 10 days. The other possibility is a reaction to the nappies he wears. Try the other brand and see if this helps.
