Morning Doc

My lb is 1 in 3 days time, he developed a rash (fine pimples) on his cheeks, arms &  legs but it is more prominent on his cheeks. He is on nan 2 and eats a proteins veggies and fruit. I gave him some cooked baked beans with his normal food. Could this have caused the rash and what can I use to make it go away.
He also developed a lump on his collar bone due to the bcg vaccination at birth, we had it tested and it was filled with puss which showed signs of the bcg in it. It has now changed in appearance, it looks like a puss filled pimple and is much softer to what it was. Should I be concerned?

It is possible that your son has a virus infection such as Roseola. This does not appear to be an allergic rash as the rash would be very itchy and he would scratch a lot.His rash should fade within 2 or 3 days.
He also appears to have what is called a BCG abscess which developed in a lymph gland above his collar bone. This kind of abscess takes many months to heal and to disappear. Treatment is not usually recommended but if the lump is discharging or becomes bigger you should return to your paediatrician for an opinion.
