No this is not safe and the fumes often cause additional chest problems for young babies.

Why was puma balsem ointment taken from shelves? My grandmother, mother and I have used puma. Now I have a littLe baby boy and he has a cold and noothing else are working for him. Not even this new "vicks baby rub". What a waste of good money. Bennets also have a product, but that is also a waste of time and money. Maybe I can find all the ingredients and make it myself. Mmm?

I am 50 years old and my mum used puma balm on me, I used it on my kids and I bought it for my grandson , I am just very upset that I cannot find any puma balm on any shop shelves, why must all the good things be discontinued?

I was a firm believer in my puma balm , never without it. My 3 children was rubbed chest , back and under the feet for blocked or runny nose and phlegm. Children all grown up today and no chest problems . So I guess it varies from child to child .
