Q.

Puberty already?

Good Morning

My daughter is turning 9 in June this year - she has recently started getting little pipmple on her forehead, and yesterday she complained that the area around her right nipple is sore - that there is a bump underneath it. I recall this being from when the breasts start growing? Could she be starting puberty so early?
She is on Straterra for ADHD and on Flixonase and Inflammide for asthma - I dont know if this speeds up anything.

Many thanks for your help.

It does seem that your little girl is showing the first signs of puberty. These medicines do not have any effect on the onset of puberty. As your daughter is really quite young to be entering puberty now it would be best to see your paediatrician to be sure that all is well.
