Childhood Diseases

Good day, I would just like to know what’ s the worst that can happen if I don’ t take my daughter for her follow up prevenar vaccinations. She has had the first two, and we are four weeks late to give her the third one, purely as she has been too ill to vaccinate. I am terrified of giving her another vaccination as last time her little legs swelled up like grapefruits and she ran a fever that night of 40 degrees. She is now 6 months old.

I advise against your daughetr having any more of the Prevenar vaccinations. She appears to be allergic to this particular vaccine and may have an even worse reaction if given another injection of Prevenar.

Dear B
We also had a horrible experience with Prevenar and discontiniued the vaccinations after the first one - on my GP' s advice. When I was in hopital with my second baby, I told the physiotherapist about all the side effects of Prevenar and she told me that her baby AS WELL AS THREE OTHER COUPLES'  babies all stopped breathing and had to be hospitalised as a result of Prevenar vaccinations.
I think that Prevenar should be banned. Do yourself a favour and look up all the side effects. It is reported that one in ten babies get fits after being vaccinated with Prevenar.
My pediatrician also told me that the protection Prevenar offers is very limited and he would therefore also not reccomend it.
Good luck.
