Potty Training

My son turned 3 in March. He wears underwear during the day but at night I use a nappy as he is never dry in the morning. I am not so concerned about that. My concern is however that he refuses t poo in the potty or toilet. I' ve tried to put him on the toilet on several occasions and he cries uncontrollable. I dont want to push him either. Should I be concerned and what else can I do to encourage him to use the toilet. I' ve tried sitting with him (even his sister and father did this), but nothing.

Potty training must not become a big problem for your son. It would be a good idea to give him about 10 days break and then start his potty training again. Let him wear pull-up nappies at night. Start a star chart reward system to try to end his bed wetting after the break period is over. Also start a reward system for any success on the toilet. Read more about both of these reward plans on this forum and on Google.
