Q.

POST NASAL DRIP - 9 MONTH BABY

My little girl has a snotty nose, which is slightly off colour every now and again. She' s been seeing an ENT for 2 months now and has been put on NASONEX Nose spray and DESELEX (twice a day for almost 2 months). When do you know when to take them to the doctor ? She' s coughing - especially at night - is this the post nasal drip ? What other over the counter medicine can i give her ?

Your baby is on medicines used to treat allergic rhinitis [nasal allergy]. Your baby does not sound as if she has an allergic problem.I suspect that she has enlarged adenoids with a post nasal drip. All you need to use is Salex nose drops twice a day to clear her nose.
