Subject: tb or what?

hi doc

my baby she was diagnosed wit Broncho pnemonia wen she was 2 months n she took her medication and again wen she was 3 moths she had flue n 4 months again she had flue n now she is 5 months she is got flue again i am confused now if it not Tb cause she sweat a lot even if not hot and her chest is always tight is de a physician for babies cause i want her to do a tharaly check up beacuse i am + but i dd her test n it came back negative wat can i do doc?

Your baby probably does not have TB but needs to have her immunity tested with all of these severe chest infections. Please take her to be seen by a paediatrician. If you cannot afford private treatment please take your baby to be seen at your nearest provincial hospital.

i phone my babys pd n he told me that he can do an IEG test what test is that n i can only take my baby next week saturday is it not too late?

You do not need to do the tests urgently, so you can wait for the appointment. Your baby must have all his immunoglobulins tested not just the IgE. This means IgA, IgG and IgG subclasses and the IgE.He should also have a blood count done.
