Canesten is the best ointment to apply to the ringworm. Ringworm is a fungus infection of the skin. De-worming your daughter will not help to clear up a ringworm of the skin. If the rash keeps coming back it is often necessary to take a medicine called Griseofulvin by mouth once daily for 6 weeks. You need a prescription for Griseofulvin so you will have to take your daughter to see a doctor.
