Q.

possible sleep issues

I recently had another LO..she is now 1 mth old but I' m currently sleeping with her, in her room because of feeding at night....My other L girl (3), now at night, comes to the baby' s room and wakes me, to get into bed with me...She sleeps right next door..She is a very good sleeper, but I am now wondering what causes her to to this? I would like to have her with me all night...I' m just scared if I am now going to allow this, I might make problems for myself later, when I go back to my room....any adivise would be appreciated....

Your little 3 year old is feeling rather insecure with the arrival of her new sister. She would also like some of the attention. If you allow her to sleep with you now you will have great difficulty getting her back in her own room again. Involve her as much as possible in doing little things for her baby sister and make her feel important. Her Dad must also give her lots of support and attention and help her to understand that big girls sleep in their own rooms.
