Possible Diagnosis

Dear Prof

We ended up taking our son to see a geneticist (Prof de Jong) due to all the small issues (Chiari 1, heterochromia of the scalp hair, 3 crowns, constipation, drooling etc). She suspects that he has FG syndrome. This is quite devastating to hear. We are awaiting chromosomal analysis results, also for mosaicism. Apparently no test for FG which is horrible, because a clinical diagnosis could simply be wrong?? or am I in denial?

I am waiting for an appointment with Dr vd Walt for developmental assessment, but she''s quite full. Can you suggest anyone else in Helderberg Cape Town area?

I am holding thumbs for you.It will be a good idea to see Dr Birgit Schlegel at Constantiaberg on both counts She is a paediatric neurologist and is really excellent, in fact superb. I do not know of a paediatric neurologist in Somereset West.

I hope you guys in America reelect Obama. Some of you may not cmtlpeoly understand his healthcare plan. Some may think it just can''t work. But is does.I live in Belgium, and our healthcare is one of the best in the world. We all have to pay (yes, even if you never get sick) but we all can pay the hospital costs when we get seriously sick.If we break a leg, we don''t think: omg, i can''t pay this. We think, omg does it hurt a lot?
