Q.

Possible adenoid removal (re:1748)

Thank you for the reply.

Prof, taken from your answer to question 1748:"  I presume that he is not snoring when sleeping and that he does not have sleep apnoea"

How will we know if our son has sleep apnoea?
And, how do you measure snoring? (he does snore, but not too loud....or we are used to it?)

If your son snores at all then this is an indication for his adenoids to be removed. Sleep apnoea means any period when your baby does not appear to be breathing. This usually is a few seconds of not breathing. This is an absolutely definite indication for the adenoids to be removed.
