Q.

polio

is it ok for a child to get the polio vaccination more then once. My child has had one before and the healt dept are coming to the schools to give polio vaccination shortly and I would like to know if it would be good to have it again or is once enough. thank

Children are meant to get the polio vaccine a couple of times on the governement and private vaccination schedules.

It''s fine to let the extra vaccine be given. My son''s school as the dept of health visiting today for the booster vaccines. He had MMR 6 weeks ago, so I''m not repeating the measles one now, but he is having the polio drops (which weren''t given 6 weeks ago).
