Q.

Pls Assist

My 7mnth old who' ll be turning 8 on the 8th doesn' t want formula he only takes breast milk. When he was about a month and a half he took breat milk from the bottle. He is my second baby and i was stil enjoying breastfeeding as i only breast fed my first born for a month. When i was on maternity leave i never introduced formula milk i guess i was enjoying breastfeeding and not thinking that when i go back to work it will affect him. I haven' t tried expressing milk which i know that i should. When i took him for his immunisation his weight went down a bit. I' m really stressed and dont know whether if i shud try giving him a different formula as the one i was trying to introduce to him is S26 Gold which he only intakes when being fed soft porridge... Please help as i would be happy to get a different number concerning his weight when i take him for his 9mnth check up..

Your baby obviously prefers breastmilk which is always best for babies. He does not appear to want to take the S26 Gold which is a good formula. The only option would be to continue to breast feed him when you are home and to express breastmilk for the time when you are at work.
