Q.

Please help me once again

Afternoon doctor

You have always been of great help, so once again I please need your help.

Jayden turned 11 months on the 25th. He isn' t a very good sleeper and still sleeps in our room. Some nights are bad then he sleeps in our bed. I want to move him out, but dont know where to start. He is fimiliar with his room - during the day he will crawl there and play with his teddies.

I personally think its altready a bit late now to move him, but he has been sick on and off for the past 3 months thus making it difficult to move him.

Where do I start and how do I do it? What procedures must I follow? I dont exactly know what sleep training is all about.

Thank you once again doctor.

Your son seems quite ready to start sleeping in his own room, but give him 1 more month then move him to his room. There is no good reason why he should still be in your room after that.He may not give you any problems about moving. Make a fuss about what a big boy he is when you move him and keep on letting him get used to his room. You or his Dad should read to him when he is in his own bed and ready to go to sleep.
