my 3yr sold started day school this year in his first week he developed a running nose weeks later bad cough ended up in hospital with the RS virus, 3 weeks out of hospital nose started again developed fever and now on antibiotic. oh also discover he has gallstones which doesnt seem to bother him no signs of discomfort. Is my sons immune not strong enough ? he is on creche guard vidaylin with iron and ferofel??? he always end up with a nasal infection should we visit an ent specialist or is his body just not coping with the new enviorment.

This is almost certainly an environmental issue. Preschool childrenwho enter an environment such as a creche or school where there are several other children present are exposed to many different kinds of infection usually caused by viruses. Their immune systems have to adjust to these new infections and often a child may have one respiratory infection after another, as your son is having now. Keep his nose clear by using a saline spray twice daily such as Sterimar nasal spray.Keep up the Creche Guard which is a good immune booster. He may not really need the extra iron unless he has been shown to have an iron deficiency.

Hi me again i was just informed that my son has 2gall stones in his gall bladder but has no symptoms relating to that, ie stomach pain vomiting etc. HOW DOES A 3 YEAR GET GALLSTONES?
should this not be removed irrespective of none symptoms?

Hi Sam, thank you so much for you response, i was told by another lady to use enchina force by dr.vogel its also a homepath immune booster. and of course because its his 1st yr at creche he will get sick but its heartbreaking to see them like that. Thanks again!

Hi My son also caught a few virusses when he started playgroup. The only vitamin that seemed to help was Respitron and Engystol homeopathic ampules (which I gave him to drink at least twice a week) - not sure if its just a coinsidence or if its the vitamins but he rarely gets sick since Ive used the above. Only other advice I have is to keep him home (if at all possible) untill September. Feb and March is the wost time for catching especially the RS Virus -my son was also in hospital with it when he was 2. Good luck! next year will be easier!
