Hi Doc, my LG 2 years old started scratching her bum at night time. I read in my baby book that it could be Pinworms. How will I know forsure that it is Pinworms and is it serious and what can I give her to take it away. And, how do they get Pinworms.

Your comment would be greatly appreciated.

This is very likely to be due to pinworms. This infection is spread from child to child. When the child scratches his or her anus the eggs collect under the finger nails and can survive for uo to 3 weeks.Infected children touch other children and the infected worm eggs are spread. The infection is easily treated with a single 5ml dose of Vermox Syrup.
