I am recovering from pink eyes ,although I tried so hard to prevent my LO from getting it he did. What can I do to treat it and make him as comfortable as possible. I feel so terrible for letting my baby get this. Please help.

This is a viral infection of the eyes which can be very severe at times. Although it is usually caused by a virus,it is best to use an antibiotic eye ointment called chloramphenicol twice a day for 3 to 5 days.Speak to your pharmacist about this. If your baby does not get better within 3 days please take him to see his doctor.
