This is a skin rash with a long name called 'papular urticaria' It is caused by sand flea bites and is an allergic reaction to these flea bites. The rash is very difficult to treat and lasts a long time but your son will grow out of this problem with time. Apply calamine lotion to the bites and also give him a good vitamin supplement daily such as Vidaylin. If your animals have fleas they must be treated.
