Q.

Pimple on private

Hi doc,

Have a son. When he was born he had a tiny white pimple on his peni s(just beneath the head at the bottom). As we are muslim we usually circumcise them within the first few days but waited for about a week or so and took him to the paed. Paed said we should circumcise him, would be no problem and shouldnt get pimple again. However, going on two years, he ocassional still gets the pimple, it doesnt bother him and no infection etc, but do you think i should take him to someone to have it looke as i clean him thoroughly at bath times in the morning and evening. I dont want him to have any problems as he gets bigger. is this a point of concern?

This is a small cyst which is very common and will disappear by itself with time. There is no need for concern.
