Q.

Piles

Hi Doc,

I have a three months old baby boy.He is always constipated.I feed him NAN1.When he want to relieve himself he cries a lot.Last night when I check him at backside I saw something like piles.Is it possible for 3 months old baby to have piles.What is the remedy.He eat a lot and weighed 7.9

Constipation is a problem for a young baby of this age. He will not have piles at his age. Use an infant glycerine suppository to help him to pass the constipated stool. Then change his feed to Lactogen 1.Let me know if you are still concerned about him once he is on Lactogen.
